So I had a test this morning...

and I passed!

Yes, it was my driving test. Locally, it's known as "Final drive" since you're only required to drive around for about 30 minutes or so and just demonstrate what you know. Well, I passed with 82%.

So I am officially a Provisional Driver!

I did two solo drives today-one to a shopping centre that's about a 10-15 minute drive and the other to a Maccas (McDonalds) about 5 minutes away. Did alright on the shopping centre one although it took me about 10-15 minutes to get INTO the park correctly.

Second time around....I fucked up.

My car stalled just as I went over the intersection and it turned yellow (i.e. my car was straddling the white line). By the time I got it moving, it was red. I was so embarassed I went through the intersection in first gear. Thank god there wasn't a red-light camera there
