Such sweet kitties! I've always wanted a pure black cat, I had one that had silver speckles once, but he was so sweet the people down the road stole him when they moved.
Please give them scritchies for me? It doesn't matter if it's belly, chin, or ear, whichever the kitties prefer.

Yah, Vincent's...its best defined as "an unholy stench". When we adopted him, his name was "Stinky". Of course, we changed it...but now we understand why. He makes no noise, the only sign he's doing it is his tail curls into a question mark shape, and then plants start dying, paint peels, etc etc. Its bad enough to make my husband flee the room....and he's one of "those" types of guys who has fart contests with his friends.

(and before anyone asks, I don't let him do that here, they did it ONCE and I just about kicked him out for the week and cordoned off the den)

You can get a pro-biotic powder from the veternarian to mix in w/ their wet food that really really helps w/ the smell of the feline farts & feces.

Several years ago I was showing a house to a client when we heard a persistant wail from what could only be a kitten.So we ended up crawling under the house (a manufactured home on blocks,quite a bit of room & my client was cool with it) & there's a tiny kitten,still blue-eyed & all alone,no sign of mama or litter mates.So I grab her & since we're not far from my house my client's cool with me takin' the kitty there,we have cat stuff.But she's too young,so into the carrier she goes & back to the office with me.

no problem with my client,I sold him the house he wanted,he liked critters too

Turns out the poor thing wasn't even weaned,so for 2-3 weeks we kept formula ready to feed her 3-4 times a night.We had our camping trip planned & we couldn't leave her so we took her camping with us.It was so funny to watch her walk on the table & she slept in the tent with us.

Aw! What a cute little thing!

I think my mom's hand-fed at least a dozen kittens over the years. Recipe for kitten formula is actually in her recipe card box and the card's pretty worn.

This is actually not the first pair of black cats I have seen where one was a walking fumigator in a fur coat. Strange, really.

Abby and Bitty used to make some serious stinkies when doing their #2.
They weren't farters but their poop DID NOT smell like roses.

I changed food to a prescription food for kidneys (both of them had issues) and their poo wasn't so fragrant.
