A question (primarily for the mods, but open to all)

I don't always agree with the mods' decision to close something down, but I accept it, because it's so much nicer to be on a board where that nasty crap isn't tolerated.

Trust me, on a personal level - there's *many* threads I don't want to shut down. But, I have to put my personal feelings aside and abide by the rules and do what's good for the board.

Sometimes its hard to go into a thread where everyone is having a good time and having to be the proverbial 'wet blanket'. Unfortunately, there are certain topics that we just *know* will go south and we are rarely proven wrong.

I'm exceedingly grateful that the vast majority of you give us very little cause to have to become a nag or nanny.
