Beaujolais Nouveau is the first release of this year's vintage. It's a light, fruity, easy-to-drink wine that is absolutely delicious -- if you buy the right label.

Look for something from the importer Kermit Lynch. His wines are guaranteed to be really good. We've got THREE this year. Domaine de la Madone, Domaine Dupueble, and Paul Durdilly. I'll report back as soon as I taste them tomorrow.

I LIKE WINE! Ive heard of beaujolais but have never had it before...I'm hesitant to buy alcohol when I dont know if Ill like it or not.

Because it's such a huge event, most stores are having tastings. So you should get a chance to try it before you buy.
