The Shattering is today!

For all the World of Warcrafters on the forum....most of us know that today is the Shattering of the game world. Everything is literally being reforged at the whim of one very angry dragon.

Anyone else super excited about this? I got chills just watching the trailer.

I'm a bit sad as well for the loss of the old world. It was a beautiful place (in most places...). I will forever miss Zul'Gurub and some of the other places. =(

Woo-hoo!!! I'm so excited! Perfect timing as well, I don't have any major assignments to work on over the break. I'm really excited about the changes. It'll be sad to see Darkshore go, but I think the changes will be for the better. Fiance's brother got to play the Beta, and he absolutely loves it. Fiance is also very excited to level a Troll Druid, although I'm not exactly sure why.

I'm excited, although I will miss the old Azhara. Used to love questing out there. Peaceful and kinda unique. Now it's just a goblin race track.

But yeah I'm excited. My soon to be tauren pally's excited too.

I'm pretty excited!! Too bad it's finals and holidays right now so that I can't actually play. Oh well; soon!

I am such a nerd. Did anyone else notice the date today? And its' significance? On this date in 2004, WoW launched. I love Blizzard ... but poor Azeroth! But WOOHOO! So yeah.

I can't wait until finals are over!!! I won't (can't) reactive my account until then. The good thing is that my birthday is during finals, so hopefully someone will get me the expansion and I can spend my few weeks of break playing.

See, I'm being a good girlfriend and letting him play without harshing his excitement. He has a number of characters, and a guild to consider, so he's all over the patches and Cataclysm... even though it doesn't come out for another two weeks! He plays Horde, so he's loving the Sunwalkers, and he was just ecstatic over the turkey-feathering of the rouges... even I can appreciate that!

I think the WoW gods hated me. We lost power Monday night and got it back on Wednesday. Yeah I am blaming Deathwing for the winter storm the Northwest just got hit with

So far I love this. Though i am getting lost A LOT in Org. I started 2 new charactors to see what the changes to the leveling is. So far I LOVE IT. It is really smooth and much nicer. Plus I swear it is going faster.

Also I recommend reading the book The Shattering. It is about the events leading up to Deathwing coming up. It is very cool. Finished it Tuesday night before we logged in while we were at my in laws.

Yeah I really love how they've done everything.

And I'm looking forward to rolling both goblins and worgens.

When I first heard what they were doing I wasn't really excited about it at all, but now that I've seen it, they've done a really great job.

Also I have several characters lost in Org atm.

Seeing the new Orgrimmar for the first time...that was truly awe inspiring. I love my Troll Druid, but I'm REALLY looking forward to Worgen
