That looks like a cute movie. Don't know that I'll see it in the theater but I would like to see it sometime.
I took the day off tomorrow, so I got my hair cut and took myself to see Harry Potter. 11:15am on a school day is a good time to go to see a big movie like that if you want to avoid the crowds. (Though I did find myself surrounded by a bunch of giggling girls during the previews and had to move.)I don't go in for ancient wisdom

Go see it. In the theater and in three D.
Yeah, that's right. I actually went to a movie theater for the first time since POTC.
I didn't get in any fights. And I had a GREAT time!
This movie is worth the expense and hassle of going out to a theater and seeing it in three D. It blew us out of our chair.
At one point, my five year old was sitting on my lap trying to touch somthing "floating" just in front of her. Just georgeous.

My husband and I went to see Tangled over the weekend, but not in 3d. We both get pretty bad headaches from watching 3d movies, and I'm very prone to motion sickness, so we try to skip them most of the time. We still thought Tangled was awesome! It was very cute and entertaining. We didn't even have to deal with giggly girls or kids kicking our seats. There were a lot of kids in the theater but *gasp* they were mostly all well behaved!

Yeah, that's what I'm always afraid of with 3d movies, since I get migraines too (just getting over one, in fact.Quoth RecoveringKinkoid View PostI was really afraid of the glasses triggering a migraine.
) I don't think I've ever actually gotten a migraine from a 3d movie, but then again, I think the only movie that I've actually been to in 3d is Coraline, and it gave me enough of a headache to want to avoid doing it again.

What I did was just kind of force myself to relax (my eyes tend to fight sometimes) and not try to focus too hard. I am farsighted, and I wear glasses, so I just put the glasses over my specs and relaxed my face. Once my eyes figured it out, it was fine.Quoth MaggieTheCat View PostYeah, that's what I'm always afraid of with 3d movies, since I get migraines too (just getting over one, in fact. .
Granted, I avoided any of my other migraine triggers...you know how those can stack up and destroy you.

Ohhh, glad to hear people liked it! I've been debating whether or not to treat myself to this one, it's this or Deathly Hallows. And to be honest, I don't find the HP movies to be all that great, the last one was horrible, IMO. Last month I went to my first 3D movie when we saw Megamind (awesomely funny) and found that the format doesn't bother me like I worried it might.
And today I'm off work, hmmm . . .The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Hehe I got to be a little kid. I went and saw it all by my self and giggled to my little hearts content ^_^ It's a cute movie!"I'm not smiling because I'm happy. I'm smiling because every time I blink your head explodes!"

So, my mother and aunt were down visiting for the holiday season, and I decided to take them to the movies, since they don't go a lot on their own.
We loved it. I heartily recommend it.
