For those who are curious: I went in and spoke to staff and they basically threatened while not directly saying that they would make it very difficult for me to get my scholarship renewed. Unfortunately with the timing on that I wouldn't be able to get a loan to cover it quickly enough and would have to take a semester off, and I really don't want to do that. So, could I go after them? Yes, I could, yes, I probably should, but I've decided right now I'm just too stressed and it's not worth my mental health to do it.

I did get them to pull the video of me out of the streaming thing. I'm still incredibly pissed but at least it's not running anymore. I just will be dropping it past that because again, not worth my mental health.

But thanks guys, I'm really glad to know I'm not crazy for thinking they're jackasses.

While it is totally your decision to make, I will plead one last time for you to take action. Your scholarship should not be of concern. When the school hears about the law suit, they will be asking what you settle for. After the criminal charges are taken care of, they will be wanting to avoid the civil suit.

That's not a bad idea either.

What it comes down to in the end is this:

Dad is paying for school. Dad is very disappointed that I'm taking more than four years to graduate and when I asked him about this incident, he said that if I take any longer than I already am, he will withdraw all financial support - yes, even if it's because of the school. So that's about $30,000 more that I'd need to pay myself. As much as I'd like to stick it to my school, I can't handle being here even longer and I definitely don't want another 30k in debt. It's not worth it. If I do go after them it'll be during my last semester, when I already know I'll be graduating and they're unable to stop me.
