What do you want your gravestone to read? If you come up with a really good one, you may win the Internet.

For me, it's very likely to be, "It wasn't sane, but it wasn't boring."

I stole this one from a 19th century gravestone (unsurprisingly, in the American West):

"(S)he never killed anyone that didn't need killing."

(In Norse runes and Old Norse) Wow, you spent a long time just trying to figure out what this said didn't you?

                    "Oops."

It wants me to write at least ten characters. Okay, then:

                    "Oooooooops."

I've never thought about a headstone, but the obituary I have pondered. I have come to the conclusion that I want my obit, even if its a total lie, to say something that will cause people to do a spit take when they read it. Things like:
"Found encased in 4000 cubic feet of Jello." (20x20x20, ideally)

Were I to design my grave plot though, I know what I would want. I want a statue of the Grim Reaper, pointing at the ground about 2 feet behind where someone would stand to read the headstone. At that point on the ground will be a small plaque that says 'made you look.'
Something kind of sad about the way that things have come to be.
Desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety?
