Actually OP I'd suggest the opposite is true. Honestly if no self respecting breeder/pet store will give her an animal any more because of her history of getting bored with them and getting rid of them then the cycle stops. And at that point what is she going to say?

"Oh that Zombiequeen! She told everyone that I kill my pets when I'm bored with them and no one will sell me an animal anymore!"

Or

"Damnit I'm having such a hard time getting a pet since Zombiequeen told the snake breeders why I was giving up my beardie!"

Congratulations you're responsible, she isn't, her reputation is ruined, yours isn't. Spread the word about what she does because honestly its disgusting. I'd take the little guy in a heartbeat if I had somewhere I could keep animals. I can't even have my hedgie with me right now or else I'd adopt him.
