$100 in gift cards from my folks - Gonna be a "starving student" starting next week, so these are gift cards to the local supermarket for food, and one for Tim Hortons - gotta have my coffee!

Stuff I need for college (lab jackets, goggles, a stopwatch, etc) sheets & down duvet, watch, tool kit, bath stuff.

I'm still expecting a package in the mail with my gifts from my fiance. It was a very nice Christmas. I just wish I could be spending it with my sweetie too.

Just got home from Dad's a couple of hours ago . . . and I'm stuffed worse than a tick since Mom decided to cook our dinner tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow.

In addition to what I got last night at home, I got a $100 bill from my Dad and stepmom.

It'll be going into the bank tomorrow (along with the $100 my brother got, as he wants to do more shopping online) and it'll be well spent.

Oh, and as a bonus . . .

we are having a WHITE CHRISTMAS. Pics are going up shortly on Facebook along with the ones I took at Dad's earlier today.

My Aunt gave me electric tooth brush that she got from the dentist office she works at.
I got the lens I asked for, I ended up crying when I got it because I felt so bad, my parents are having so many issues and I can't pay them back for it for a long time, now they are refusing to let me. Feeling guilty, on top of family stress made me break down.

L: one of those giant bouncy balls with glitter in them. She collects bouncy balls and has over 800 bouncy balls.

M: One of those spinning, light up, vibrating wand things from Wal-Mart. There is an obvious joke about it.

B: A little toy tractor because she is a country girl through and through.

Chainmail: a huge roll of bubble wrap. He was so ecstatic when he got it

Roomie: a giant pen since she loves weird pens.

Beloved Bullshit: he got a teddy bear and a marker. Some anime fans will get the joke. He certainly did.

People Back Home

Munchkin: a t-shirt from the anime club I belong to and a homemade piggy bank made from a coffee can. I made the top cut just so she can get coins in, but if the can falls, very few to no coins will fall out. Munchkin carries so much change with her, so I gave her something that will hold it.

Mom: I got her a Sweet Pea scented candle, which I had to keep over at Beloved Bullshit's house because if I had it in my dorm, I would get in trouble for "intent to light"

Grandparents: I gave them a book I had called "Why Does My Cat Do That?" because they recently took home a homeless kitty that was declawed in the front and neutered. They felt so bad for the poor little guy and didn't want him to freeze to death.

Probably the best reaction I got to a gift I gave was the caramels for PortuguesePrincess. Tose who have read all of my threads may remembers that this past summer i took her to a live performance by Cheech & Chong show. She told me after that not to get her anything for Christmas due to the ticket being $50. I told her I wouldn't, but then made a liar out of myself by getting her something anyway.

When i gave it to her, she said "what did you go and do that for?! I told you not to get me anything, Dav--" *sees what I got her and shrieks with delight*

"You really do know me! Thank you so much!"

From irritated to delighted in a split second.

And got socks from one of my older sisters, which we think was a "Oh my God they got me something so I need to get them something!!!!!!!!!" gift, when I wasn't expecting a gift at all and wouldn't have felt bad if I didn't get one at all.
