    New year, new apartment, new life

    Hi all! I know I've been quiet lately but life's been crazy. I'm still getting ready to go in the Navy, and while here, I met a great guy, who's also got a great son So, the day before new years eve, D informed me that he was getting an apartment, and would I like to move in with him and his son. Oh, and by the way, when I get my divorce, do I want to get married? Can we say floored? You bet we can! Of course the answer was yes

    So yesterday, New Years Day, we found an apartment, rented it and spent our first night here last night YAY!

        You looked for, found, rented, and moved into an apartment on New Year's Day???

        Talk about moving fast and incredible luck to have done all of that on a holiday.

        I think I am in awe or something.
        Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

          You're telling me! I was almost as floored by that as by the sudden, all one sentence request for me to move in and get engaged proposal! Talk about new years luck!

          And thanks for all the congratulations It really hasn't sunk in yet to be honest LOL

                  Thank you all Today, D asked his mom's friend if we could borrow some pots and pans til we could get our own, and when he went to get them, she ended up giving us some lightly used (but matching) pots and pans, a brand new set of gorgeous dishes, a lightly used (but very very nice) coffee maker, and about 6 bags of groceries (I'm not talking cheap either.. a giant thing of steak was in there )

                  I completely broke down. I couldn't believe it. I was cooking dinner when he came home, and I turned around and was close to tears when he started bringing in the groceries. Then he brought the coffee maker and the pots and pans, and when he brought in the box of dishes, I lost it. Just completely lost it. This is just a week of good things
