      Having known a few paralyzed people, talked to a few more than that, and seen far more than that, I will humbly submit that "dead" is far worse than " paralyzed."

      Opinions vary on this, of course. But as much as I would hate to not have the use of my limbs, I would much more hate to not have the use of my LIFE.
