  • I know moms been telling to clean it.. What

So I was watching cops last night, I feel like Im spying on people when I watch it. Well they went to this house cause the dad was busting all the windows out of the house. Well they get there and everything calmed down and the dad is bleedinglike fuck from his hands. All the doorways of the house has sheets up to them. The cop says oh this is the kitchen, is there a towel in here for his hands?
She pulls back the sheet and trash literally comes falling out of the kitchen. There is moldy food and dishes stacked to the ceiling and there are roaches and bugs flying everywhere. There is trash every fucking where. Well at this point the woman starts screaming and crying, which upset the two under 5 year old children. She tells the kids now they are gonna take you away. Cause you know thats there fault.
She also starts saying oh my moms been yelling at me to clean it wahhhhhhhh!!! I'm poor waaahhhhhhh
The cop tells her well Im giving you 24 hours to clean this up and I WILL be back tommorrow. (I would have took them away right then and there)The woman then starts telling the kids okay its fine mommy gonna go clean. My problem is between the nasty house and the dad busting windows out , what future does these poor kids have. But I did find it funny that the cop told the woman that no matter how much money you have, you can keep your kitchen clean.

I saw the same episode (more than once). And its pissed me off. Being "poor" doesnt give you an excuse to live like an absolute slob. And yes, my house isnt 100% sparkly but her kitchen? Really? Theres no excuse for that. None whatsoever.

Thank goodness someone else seen it. I was telling some CW about it and I think they thought I was making it up. UGGHHH

        That whole family needs intervention.

The husband clearly has anger problems.
The wife (or husband, or both) has squalor problems.
The kids have problems caused by both of them.

Squalor like that is a symptom of something. Mental, physical, both... dunno. I'm not there, and not qualified to tell.

        2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
        3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
        4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

Funny, I have relatives like that. No strangers to DCFS--an arrangement like that was nothing unusual for them.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!
