Anyone know any good eBook websites? I used to use kobo but for some reason it won't work. I can't enter text into the search bar.

There's some Star Wars books I want to read and being in Afghanistan, it'd just be easier to read them online.

I would recommend http://www.inkmesh.com you put in what book you're looking for and it will list all the websites that have it, and the prices. So you can comparison shop from one place.

They actually have the book I want, but only audio ones.

Mostly for-pay books, but Kobo has a decent on-line reader.

I like Kobo because even though the books are DRM'd I can still load them onto my Sony Reader.

As I mentioned in my OP, kobo was what I was using but the website seems to be dysfunctional. I can't use the search bars at all. They won't let you click in the box.

Are you sure the problem isn't with your browser, and not the site itself? Because I'm at kobo's website right now, and the search bar and website is working fine for me.

Anyway here are other sites you can download from. http://www.sonybooks.com http://www.borders.com http://www.smashwords.com http://www.barnesandnoble.com

I've tried google chrome, IE, and firefox.

Ah, Borders works very well. Decent prices too.

Not sure what your reading tastes are, but for science fiction and fantasy, you could try the Baen Free Library. They have a decent selection of scifi/fantasy, all at no charge. the also have most (if not all) of their books available in various ebook formats.
