There's a really old commercial I'd love to see again. I am convinced it's an old Sprint commercial, but someone else told me they remember it and it was not Sprint. It's of a bunch of people in bright-colored and maybe sparkly Hazmat-looking suits dancing around to "Shake Your Groove Thing." And I cannot bloody even find it on Youtube. But it was a phone ad of some kind, I'm quite certain.

You're correct, the Vikings are CapitalOne Bank. I love those ads and particularly love the way that the goat is becoming a major character.Quoth Racket_Man View PostI think that commercial is for the CapitalOne credit card not Geico insurance. there is a whole series of those "What's in your wallet???" featuring Vikings search YouTube for Capital One Vikings. the whole series over the last 2 or 3 years is getting better esp the goat running gag
The goat gets into an exclusive club in Los Angeles. He's the one who 'speaks now or forever hold his piece' at a rash Wedding in Las Vegas. He's also the one who's singing with a Preservation Hall type jazz band in New Orleans. That goat has come a long way from breaking a leg in an accident on a ski slope.Research is the art of reading what everyone has read and seeing what no one else has seen.

It's such a simple commercial, but I love the artistic use of color, and how they emphasize the red.Steven Slater ROCKS! So does James Jones!

my favorite commercial was an Oreo commercial
2 boys, about 3 and 5(ish) sitting at the table, they have the same number of cookies in front of them, the older boy has a regular cup of milk, while the younger one has a sippy-cup with lid; older brother dunks his oreo - younger see this - tries to dip his cookie in his sippy cup, through the mouth piece; tries to take the lid off, tries to dunk in big brother's milk (denied) finally picks up the cup and drips milk onto the cookie - looks at older brother and goes "ha-ha"
Love it!I am well versed in the "gentle" art of verbal self-defense

My favorite commercials are the Geico commercial with R.Lee Ermy as the ex-drill sergeant therapist, the Eminem Lipton Brisk commercial and the Chrysler 200 Imported from Detroit commercial. The Capital One Rewards card commercial and the Discover card commercial with the CSR guy named "Peggy" are hilarious!I don't get paid enough to kiss your a**! -Groezig 5/31/08

Geico tends to drive the jokes into the ground. After seeing those commercials at least a hundred times on CNBC every day...they're no longer funny.
But, since I remember the original commercial that this is based on...I enjoyed it.Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines. --Enzo Ferrari
