No worries. This game has been driving tons of people nuts in trying to get a relatively all encompassing solution going. I didn't expect a single person to come up with a solution with only a few minutes thought. I mainly posted to vent. Appreciate the effort though.

Well, I took a try on Dragonage: Origins (PS3 controls are odd!) over the weekend...and liked it. Now, I hear Felicia Day's latest project is an adaptation of the game! Looks like I'll be playing more....

Better than the last I heard. I was hearing late Q3-early Q4 before they even start a CLOSED beta.... Pretty sad when Duke Nukem Forever will probably be out sooner....

Not true; Diablo 3 was only announced 2 years ago, once Blizzard remembered that they can't just keep Milking the WoW fans by destroying canon. DNF was announced way back in 1997, and it took Gearbox software to finish the job. :P

Oh, I agree that DNF is still worse for the amount of time from announcement to release. But for the longest time DNF was the poster child for vaporware that would never happen. I've had a number of my developers use the line "You'll get that fix sometime before DNF hits the shelves." over the last few years. The last one to do it was less than a month ago. I responded with "Cool! So by May 5 of this year then. Great. Looking forward to it." He didn't know DNF had an official release date.

But it's kind of sad to think that it can't used for that kind of joke anymore.

Well, DNF still hasn't been released yet, and it has had several release dates before it's long postponement. To put simply, I will not believe it's released until it actually is.

Anyhow, back on topic; Anyone know any good space-based single-player games (other than Freelancer, which I've vigourously beaten to death)?

Basically, it's a Babylon 5 space combat game. Lotsa fun, well done, and it's free.

A word of note though; it uses Newtonian physics, so handling gets interesting if you're not used to it.
