Thank you-- and I did have a lovely birthday: delicious Mexican food, delicious cupcakes (lemon icing, chocolate, almond flavoring); presents that included white hots, a pretty-smelling candle, Settlers of Catan, and a night out drinking... even though my body started telling me in no uncertain terms "hey doofus this is poison, let's react like you've had too much salt!"
... and, surprisingly, my boyfriend and his buddy (who is also my friend) got drunk. That's a rarity for bf, whose immune/metabolism is funky.
Now, to send a b-day card to my older sis-- her's is today (the 13th).
EDIT: V-day, it's a double date to a fancy sushi restaurant downtown. Woo~
