...A long-time customer of ours was found dead in his home, apparently murdered.

Just feels weird, knowing that I used to talk to this man. I feel so bad for his family.

Totally understandable; it's close to home. A small positive in an awful situation: maybe you have some info that will help police, and may not even realize it. I really hope they find whoever did it! just awful

It's never fun. It happens sadily though, especally the longer you work at a place that deals with the same people. I've been invited to many a customers funerals because of my impact in their lives. It's never easy, and never stops feeling kinda wierd, evne more so then when a family member dies.

I don't think I would know anything that could help. I haven't talked to him in several months. He used to place ads fairly regularly at one time, then it tapered off some as he got older. He was very businesslike, no chit-chat.

The case has been ruled a homicide. I hope they find the killer soon.
