    Art order from one of our own!

    I've ordered a painting of my ElderlyCat from Spark. This is a thread for later thread necromancy, where we can show you how the work is progressing. I figure that it'll be good for our local artists to have folks see their work - and hey, I'll want to show it off, right? Right!

    She's booked solid for a while, and won't be getting to my piece anytime soon - I'm cool with that, she gave me fair warning. Thus the expectation of thread necromancy.



    And because a thread like this is useless without pics, here's one of three reference images I sent her:

      This has nothing to do with your cat, or the painting... But I LOVE your couch. That colour of blue is fabulous! Is it leather? Please tell me it's leather.

          Alas, no, it was vinyl. And that couch has died.

          And yes, she is both pretty and smug!
