Today, I watched no fewer than 4 people do that at the cafe.

See, at the cafe, there are TVs- Four of them to be specific. One is always on one of the local news channels and one is always on sports. That leaves two that are constantly on different channels. Today, one of them was on Cartoon Network. Specifically, it was on Cartoon Network when Looney Tunes was on. I, of course, was watching it, but I started to notice that, at the table in front of mine, two other people were watching it too. This amused me greatly, because one of them was really into it. Like, he was doing more cartoon-watching (and laughing at Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny) than studying.

Well, about 20 minutes in, this other girl came to sit with them, and then *she* started watching. More of their friends showed up, sitting at a table across from theirs (directly under the TV) and they started watching too.

I guess the point of my story is that it's very fun to watch college students acting like kids and being so excited about cartoons. XD

True. That it was specifically Looney Tunes is extremely important to make note of. *nods sagely*

I'll never forget the first time I saw a roadrunner. We were in the car and my mom said "Look! A roadrunner!" "Where?? I don't see it!" We were looking for the Looney Toons roadrunner, up at window-level, but the bird was this little brown thing on the ground. It didn't have a purple tail, either.

I will quite happily watch looney tunes. We had dinner at this place, they replicate the 'american diner' style, and TV was playing an episode of looney tunes. I couldn't hear it, but knew the dialoug and what would happen from memory.
What makes this worse.... I could only see it by reflection in a window....

            Hell,I'm 54 & I've got almost the entire Looney Tunes collection,sometimes when I'm bored I'll throw one in the player,make popcorn,fix a cocktail & enjoy the antics.

They don't make cartoons like that anymore.

I so remember waking up early on Saturday mornings, grabbing a bowl of cereal and plopping down in front of the television (black and white at that) and watching LooneyTunes! My fave..as it was said, they don't make them like that anymore! I was skimming through channels the other day and there was a cartoon show on and the characters were talking all rugged and I am positive it was one of the cartoon channels! geez, they sure don't make the good ones!
