Yeah, that was an epic night.

I'll keep my mouth shut about rain if it would just warm up and be seasonal temperatures.

As of the news tonight, we've had over 70 inches of snow in this part of WI this winter. THAT IS EFUCKINGNOUGH ALREADY, over 20 inches more than normal!

Knock it the fuck off now.

'Twas a grey, dull, rainy, drizzly disgusting day here today. Ugh. All this rain is hampering EVERYONE'S plans--farmers, construction workers, hell even the local race car drivers! Enough already! Where's the sun???

Geez St Louis! Did somebody decide you're evil and need to be punished or something?

This is the second time this week I've turned on the Weather Channel and they're talking about bad storms and damage there. Coincidentally, the last time was the little bitch of a snowstorm we got on Tuesday.

the funny thing is is that when I lived there (up until 20 odd years ago) that area really did NOT get all that shitty weather. it usually went eith far north or south of the area.

My mom is originally from another hour and a half up north of here (way up towards Superior) and she says that below average temperatures and steady snow still falling like this was the norm UP THERE when she was growing up. But around here and to the south of here, it was always at least in the 50s or 60s continually this time of year.

It was miserable and rainy and windy here too, today, but there was a lull in the morning and early afternoon. No thunderstorms like predicted....well, if there were, I slept through them. I've been sick since Wednesday morning and missed work Thursday night and haven't ventured off too far where there wasn't a bathroom nearby. I picked up some food after laundry at my parents' Friday morning and I met up with a coworker at the gym, but neither of us felt active enough to do much. I tried some ab workouts but I made my stomach even more upset by doing so.

Apparently around here, softball/baseball and other kids stuff is just not happening because of the weather. I'm not allowed to complain about rain, but I sure as hell am going to bitch about cold and snow.

Oh look....it's going to be nice and 60 degrees on Sunday.....when I have to go back to work!

And now I'm going to pull a Jester.
Here we have had lovely spring weather for over a week. Temperatures above 15 C in daytime, around 5 at night, sun and blue sky.
I'm just home from grocery shopping in t-shirt and jeans. I'll have to watch out not to get sunburnt.
The forecasts say that it will continue until Wednesday .

An inch or so of wet snow forecasted for tonight.

Thankfully, Friday will be finally in the 60s. This has been a miserable effing spring. I'm holding Mother Nature to a decent summer.

Farmer's Almanac calls for decent weather on my week off next week.

And I was surprised when all that snow melted, no missing children or pets or anything were found.
