Yesterday, Mom told me she stood outside her apartment with her neighbors and watched a tornado pass by a few miles to the south. Ick. Luckily, none of my family are injured - one cousin has a lot of damage to her house and her car's totaled (tree fell on it), but that's it. Tornado came really close to a family friend, but it passed over his house. The only damage? Some broken wind chimes and scratches on his truck caused by a neighbor's falling shingles.
I seem to be in a sweet spot in between the cold and snow up north and the storms and tornadoes down south....*crosses fingers*"Even arms dealers need groceries." ~ Ziva David, NCIS

We get some melt off very rarely during the season, and a lot of it compacts under it's own weight, but .....yes.Quoth dalesys View PostSo you're more than six feet under now?
Deer carcasses. Always make me think of the whole woolly mammoth they pulled out of the tundra in Siberia. And I LOVE that little "POP" under your boot when an ornament that fell off the tree near the discard pile finally doesn't have snow protection.
