Go fing figure....I make it all winter without getting sick once, and what happens to me when the end of April rolls around? I get a cold.

Was just incessant sneezing, runny nose and a sore throat at work today. Now the body aches are setting in.

If anybody needs me, I'll be sucking on cough drops like they're Jolly Ranchers, and popping Dayquil to fall asleep.

I always thought it was funny that I get strep/the flu in June. I think it's because my body knows I have no time to be sick any other time.

Stay home in bed, suck up the chicken soap and OJ, tylenol for aches and pains/fever and with any luck you'll be over the worst in a couple of days and still be able to enjoy some of your time off.

I had one in early April. Was weird. It made me jittery and jumpy. Never had that happen with a cold or a raised temp before.

I think mom has the same cold (or maybe it's a cold combined with allergies); her job won't let her take time off though (and she's working around food). She never gets colds either.
