Netflix is one of the coolest things in the history of ever. We've had it probably around 8 or 9 years now and we watch a ton of stuff on the Instant Streaming as well as getting DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Don't know how I'd live without it at this point...even though I don't have as much time to watch these days.

Isn't Netflix the greatest?! I love it when they have shows you haven't seen in FOREVER. I was watching reruns of Rocko's Modern Life from Nickelodeon last night. Aah, memories....

A lot of the Nova programs are on Netflix and National Geographic. Now if they would just make Engineering an Empire instant watch

I just finished Fraggle Rock and am watching Genesis of Aquarion.
Yes, I know those two series have nothing to do with one another.Low lie the Fields of Athenry/ Where once we watched the small free birds fly/ Our love was on the wing/ we had dreams and songs to sing/ It's so lonely around the Fields of Athenry

OLD TV shows I watched growing up...like being able to watch the series premire of Who's the Boss? Watching old episodes of Early edition, Mantis...I could go on and on...It is by snark alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of the coffee bean that thoughts acquire 'tude, the lips acquire mouthiness, the glares become a warning.

We've been watching Futurama, along with the usual episodes of Bizarre Foods and No Reservations for me and American Dad for him. I know he's really excited about all of the anime that's just been added. We watched Gurren Lagann a while back. He tried to get me to watch FLCL, but damn if that wasn't too confusing."Even arms dealers need groceries." ~ Ziva David, NCIS
Tony: "Everyone's counting on you, just do what you do best."
Abby: "Dance?" ~ NCIS

I don't blame you for not enjoying FLCL, it's basically a running stream of Japanese pop culture references rolled into one, and then topped off with it being intentionally impossible to follow (ala Excel Saga). That all makes it one of my most detested shows ever :P (The intentional randomness of some types of anime always make me want to smack some one, Utena is up there also).
I'm really going to have to go through the watch it now anime lists again to see what is subed on it now (yes, I know, anime snob, but some of the voice actors seriously just make me cringe, like watching the Cowboy Bebop dub).
If it hasn't been mentioned, Law and Order SVU is on watch it now, I have a hard time not sitting down and just watching all of it.
For Pratchett fans (as I'm sure there are a few), both Hogfather and The Colour of Magic are on there.

30 Second Bunny Theater is funny.
I like the randomness of FLCL might help that I like Excel Saga. Need to watch that again.Coffee should be strong, black and chewy! It should strip paint and frighten small children.
