  • Netflix Problems- Anyone Else Having Them?

For some reason, 75% of the shows I usually watch on Netflix are not showing up on my list on the Wii... Bones, Futurama, Highlander, Merlin, and Doctor Who. I search for them and they say unavailable for streaming. I -just- checked and they say they are available for streaming on my laptop. I even watched an episode of Futurama on the laptop when it wouldn't let me watch it on the Wii.

Is this happening to anyone else?

My friend had that problem. I think Netflix limits the shows you can watch via the Wii and I know I can't watch as many things on my iPhone as my parents can on their computer. Idk why though. *shrugs*

I just watched many Futurama episodes through my Wii. Now, a while back, the reconfigured the way they put up TV shows, and I had a few problems immediately after.

Just a few minutes ago, it was telling me the URL was invalid for their website. But I could get on through my PS3.

I can get on the website now though.

Also, I haven't noticed any difference between PC vs. PS3 streaming.

Ours would let things show up on both Wii and PC, but a few seconds after starting the episode, error out and refuse to restart. Just started today, far as I know, but we were without power since yesterday afternoon and only got it back midafternoon today.

It did that with me earlier, Fire_on_High. I was using the Wii again and it said Bones was available. I clicked on it to try to watch an episode and it refused to load.

Last night only my instant queue would load, and I couldnt watch anything else. I watched Clerks and then it worked normally again...so I watched Swamp People.

The latest Netflix app for iPhone and iPad sucks rocks. Used to be able to see all the instantly available stuff, and look at all the information, and rate the titles...now it's kinda bare-bones. Fortunately I watch most of my streaming Netflix stuff through our Blu-ray player...but even there I can't add new movies to the queue. Gah.

Agreed. I can watch Futurama, which is kickass. But there's so many things I go search for and find are unavailable. Did you know you can stream Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings on the iPhone app, but Two Towers (my favorite) and Return of the King are unavailable? *rages*

I watch either on my laptop or my ps3, and I can add stuff to the instant que on the ps3. Funny how it works differently on everything. My laptop has an app just for netflix, although I've watched stuff through their webpage before as well.

Yeah, that's another thing I don't understand, especially about TV shows. They'll have some seasons available to stream and others you have to get on DVD. I love "Penn & Teller's BULLSHIT!", and I don't have Showtime or any of those paid movie channels, so it was very cool that I could stream some of the episodes...but only a couple of seasons are on instant. The rest I have to add to my DVD queue.
