WHuuuu? (post office weirdness)

or rather what was sent to me in the mail.
come home from a short shopping trip with dad in law to find a box of USPS priority mail boxes unfolded and shrink wrapped on my doorstep.
came from USPS in indiana and seems free so i'm like...whuuuuu?
take it in, set it down and don't touch it in case i need to send it back.

my only thought was that in the last uhm maybe 6 months i have sent a few boxes of priority mail and did spend $10 on one or $21 something on another when i know it didn't cost that much but figured there was a reason so paid it and went on my way, and the next times it was from $5 and up so...*shrugs* wha happen?

It's a free shipping kit they send out. It should be the flat rate boxes, or at least mine was. I had to order one since I was working nights and could never get to an open post office.

yea, those are free to have. So no worries on them suddenly charging you. As for sending it to you without you ordering them or requesting them...*shrugs* who knows. Maybe it was ment for someone else and it got to you instead. I know you can get them mailed to you from Ebay.

nope, had my name and address on it and everything. works for me. i figured they sent them as late as they did cause my name came up enough times that i sent enough priority flat rate boxes that i might want them because around this time last year i sent alot of boxes out. or was being sent alot of USPS boxes too.

works for me so, will hold on to them until i need to use one. I do apologize for this sounding silly its just the suspicious nature in me. been taken in too many times for not asking whats the catch

I got them but I ordered them for free from the post office. It was delivered like a regular package.
