Recieved Lillfilly's patch today Batcat is awesome.

One of my fabric store emails I got today was showcasing their new batman and joker fabric. I cannot confirm or deny that I purchased a lot of it.

I still haven't gotten a chance to go to the craft store for my quilt square and supplies but I should have time on Thursday after I get my hair cut and highlighted and my brows waxed...ahh, pampering Good thing OK isn't too far from FL, my square should be out to you by the end of the week. If you could try to get your fabric in the mail by august 1st it would be wonderful. I do understand that RPL happens though, so not a big deal if it's late.

I don't think I'm going to be able to send any....the cat fabric I had turned out to be Halloween-themed, it's not just cats...I guess all I remembered was the cats....But I have no way to get to any fabric stores around here to find something else.

I know I had some fabric that I bought years ago for crafty things, that I never used. If I find it before Aug 1, I will PM you for your address.

But didn't Plaid love Halloween? (My memory may be flawed) The Halloween cat might just be the exact right fabric after all.

Then perhaps mooncat's Halloween themed fabric would work as well, if not better than plain cat fabric.

I bought my fabric and some fabric-friendly Sharpies today I'm washing the fabric now, will likely make my one square and then send the rest of the fabric (assuming it will be helpful) to Kanalah as well, to make squares for others or just use for her own projects.

ETA: By "fabric friendly" I mean they are brighter than most Sharpies, they're made especially for writing on fabric but will still not wash off.

Also for those that want to help out and either cant find/don't want to ship fabric. I do have some fabric I've set aside that I would be happy to put a screenname or message on for you. Just PM me.

Well, that's OK then! I'll cut out an 8x8 inch piece and wash it. I think I used some of it to make stuffed cat toys but I have sizeable piece left.

Yes, he did. At the memorial, they showed several slides of him and his friends in Halloween costumes, hamming it up. Got a few watery chuckles from the attendants.

Got some quite cute kitten fabric from quilter boss at work, just have to give it a run through the wash.
