    The title is sarcasm, if you can't tell.

    Apparently we screwed up something at tax time (no idea what) and now the IRS wants us to pay more money. Or possibly didn't get the money we sent in the first place, I am a little unclear. In any case, this kind of doesn't fill me with glee. We have the needed funds, but we're TRYING to save up, since my husband will be losing his job at the end of August. Bleah. I'm hoping the sale I'm holding will let me make up the money we're pulling out of savings for this. But one can only discount things so much before a sale stops being a way to get money and starts costing you money. Hopefully it will work out for me, and I won't get any SCs. Cross your fingers for me and wish me luck.

    Good luck! And be sure to get detailed explanations/reciepts from the IRS folks for what they're saying you owe em.

      Definately!!! Here's the form--check boxes 6B & 6C. If the offending return was for '08 or later, you can file an amended return to remove that liability or cut it. Yes, you're welcome to PM me about this matter.
