  • Guy Update

I have hinted at it in other threads, but I figured I would formally announce it here.

Anyone who isn't up to date, I broke up with the alcoholic manchild boyfriend a while back (posted it in Fratching because of the material involved).

I have been seeing someone new. I have known this guy for a couple of years, I used to work with him, but now we work different shifts. Which may sound like it's for a better good, but it makes it almost impossible to spend time together. Mix it with needing 12 hours of personal time to take a day off, it's really hard.

But we've gone on a few dates and seen each other here and there before/after work and it's been going great.

He's more of a quiet, shy type of guy, which is probably better for me.

No criminal record, he has a job, is responsible for himself, and has a valid driver's license. So far, that's well above par than the last one

Already sounds like an improvement over that last one, blas.

Sounds like you traded up. Good for you. I hope this relation works for you.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

Nope, he's not a big partier/drinker. We did go out after work the last day that we worked together, and we went out one night with another former coworker a few weekends later, but there were no mishaps, there was no drama, it was mellow and laid back type of going out.

I bet its refreshing after that manchild you were with. I'm sorry its hard to spend time with him, but I'm glad you are spending it with such an improvement.
