New job

I'm posting this from work, first day, I've been working for 7 1/2 hours, I've probably done maybe an hour of actual work, the rest has been sitting around either on the computer or reading my book, I love this! $22 an hour for doing almost nothing

Where is it? I'm around the back of the hospital, I finish around 4 and I'm intending to stop in at STA travel later in the week, I might check it out then.

RetailOne (home of the overpriced chocolate bars and other nommy goods as well as stationery)

HUGE-ASS GAP (includes the entrance to the Lounge bar, the basement stairs up to the cafeteria and I believe the women's room....DO NOT ASK why we have this)

Oasis (sort of the multifaith centre on campus: there are prayer areas for Muslims as well just off next door to it. There's a Buddhist monk on campus I've seen wandering around before...I kid you not)

If you go up the stairs, the cafeteria area is to your right. There we have a Subway, the Blue Duck (your average little cafe with Balfours pies), the Coopers Bar (one of the few places on campus that serves alcohol) and The Spicy Wok (Asian Food).

Surprisingly, the uni has been super quiet regarding book buying all this week. Its mostly lectures this week but usually people like to get readers and whatnot sorted before then (I have plans to head in on Thursday to buy readers...)
