Kisa Has Teh Happy News!!

After all the recent ex drama, I decided to take the advice of a few people. My boss who said to just hang out with friends and don't even try to find love; let it come to you. My friends and fellow CS-ers who said to forget about my ex and move on. My coworker who said I deserve better than him and to forget him; There are plenty of great guys out there. I took their advice and decided to forget about my ex (after taking a good long look at how shitty he was treating me) and just talk to friends and have fun.

I had no clue things would work themselves out so suddenly! It started with a PM about how I thought his avatar was a wooden bus/elephant (it's a truck...oops). We got to talking and it turns out he's a really great guy who shares a lot in common with me. We have similar life goals, like a lot of the same things, he's funny as hell, smart, respectful, and seems to always be able to make me smile. As of today, I can officially say (after 2 years) Kisa has a boyfriend and I met him on CS! The only tough part is we have 2,000 miles between us, but I think we can work with that.

I've been gushing to my work friends all day and now, I want to gush to my CS friends I figures a post would be easier than a crap load of PM's Allow me to introduce my new bf, TowelKing! XD

Yay! TK has a girlfriend! I can honestly say it, for me as well, was completely unexpected. Kiss is an amazing person, and I'm honored to be able to share in part this chapter of my life.

I'm wondering how many matches have been made on cs. I can think of several off the top of my head. It's funny, back when I got involved with my ex, I was just a kid in high school. The internet was still relatively newish, and online dating was a like a joke. One of her cousins never lived down the shame of meeting a girl online and marrying her. I never even knew her name, they always referred to her as "that girl he met ONLINE," which was usually followed by a laugh. And when they got divorced a couple years later, the family all nodded and said, "told you so."

I dunno, it's intriguing, but I'm still just testing the waters at this point. Finding myself recently single after all this time, the dating game has changed SO much in a decade.
