Thank you guys so much for the warm words of praise! I knew I joined this forum for a reason....I'm really excited to see where this will take us. And don't worry, we're taking it slow...we haven't even met! Haha.
Food Lady: thank you! I've never personally conversed with you, but the fact that you can say that with confidence means a lot.

I'm curious about how it's going to work tooQuoth guywithashovelCongrats!
I hope this works out. I am kind of curious to see how you guys work with the 2,000 mile barrier, mainly just so I can learn in case I find someone great who lives far away.
but we're working on it, and so far it seems to be going good.

Congratulations to you both!
I wouldn't worry about the distance too much, my girlfriend and I are 6997.98 miles apart and things are working out pretty well for us, what with e-mails, Skype, Google Talk, and Steam being great ways to keep in touch!
Personally, I'd suggest you try and arrange some time together in the flesh in the near future, preferably during a holiday, so you can see how the two of you work in person, as that's the real test!

Me and Marmalady seem to be doing fine, despite that 2000 miles. Of course she has the patience of a saintQuoth guywithashovel View PostCongrats!

. Our work schedules do not help much, nor does my illness. Still, feel I am the luckiest person alive.
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.
