Me and Bardmaiden are fine, here in York we've been hearing a lot about the riots but nothing happing here. Heard a rumour about Leeds but nothing much else. (Leeds is down the road a way about 30 miles or so)

I'm fine. The worst seems to have passed in London - or at least nothing like last night so far tonight.

All the trouble tonight seems to be more Northern. And we have their police.

Fine over here. Rumour has it that rioters arranged to meet at Brighouse, a local town, to trash it. When they got there they decided it had already been done and left for richer pickings.

All fine where I am. We have had no trouble in the North East. First time I have ever been grateful that I live here!

Everything OK here (nearest city to me is Norwich, and I'm 20 miles away from there)

Am OK here just outside London - the last two nights have been very close. I can still see the smoke from the big warehouse fire from the front windows of our flat.

My aunt and cousin worked there so we're all worried about their jobs. But at least they are safe.

I'm still at my friends in the Ilford area. Its been quiet here, very quiet as the last 2 evenings the playground behind his place ans the streets have emptied early.

I really hope its all going to calm down now. Gumby, hope your relatives employment situations are sorted soon!

I'm checking in - Booked off duty at 22:00hrs last night, then it kicked off in [Next Town Over] at 23:00.

This is very true. And our chavs are too lazy to do anything anyway. They did attempt to do *some* damage, but the only shop looted was a Chippie.

I guess the effort of going out gave them the munchies!
