Okay, I could use some advice.
I've posted on Facebook that I have this balm available. I'm thinking of approaching the organic stores here to see if they'd be interested in selling it. What other ways would be effective in getting it out there?

Etsy/ArtFire shop?
Beyond that, see if you can get your friends to post about it to Twitter.

Here's a basic rundown (my version) of sales venues.
Artfire charges $11.95 a month, they just switched over to the pay method on the 14 of this month (and shut my shop down too
). It seems to take sellers a LONG time to get established on Artfire.
Etsy charges a small fee to list, and then a percentage of the sale. Not a big deal, but there's lots of politics going into that site, and it's fairly saturated with lip balms and the like.
If you can establish yourself though, you could make a fairly good amount of money.
A website would be alright, right now I'm running a Google Sites page, its free, and it gets me by ok. I'm also selling out of an Etsy shop, and I go to EVERY craft fair/art show/whatever venue I can get into to sell.
This is of course, coming from a plushie maker. I don't know how it will work out for you, it all depends on the market.
