  • Torchwood - Miracle Day

What are people thinking on the latest Torchwood? I'm enjoying very much see the lovely John Barrowman on my screen again.

I'm feeling a bit unsure about the whole thing at the moment. Just finished the 5th Episode and it really seems more grim than I remember. Still hooked on it though. and I'm enjoying the American Cast involved. I don't want to write too much and spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet! I have a sense of unease in some of the stuff their showing but maybe it's because I'm a prude who enjoys saying "The BBC can't show this!"

I like it to some extent. I almost wish I had gotten several episodes all at once and watched them that way. I didn't like the way the last one ended, but I am sure that they will have reasons for that. I didn't much like losing Ianto either. But those things happen.

I don't have the required cable channel to watch this series, and I am PISSED. Why is this not on BBCA?

Its not on BBCA because Starz helped pay for it. They Aren't sure about renewing it for another run though. I heard IF RTD comes up with a story he wants to do, they would be interested, but they aren't looking to Auto Renew.
Lister: This is Crazy. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
Cat: You're right. We're Nuts! This is an insane conversation....
Lister: She'll never leave Fred and we know it.

I'm interested to see where they go with it, but I can't say I've been 100% hooked. Enjoyed it yes, but if it's renewed for another series I don't know if I'll watch it.

It's been good - yes, very grim, but so was Children of Earth, not to mention the end of second season. Bill Pullman is doing a bang up job (as, of course, are John and Eve).
