New Kitty!

So I got this guy yesterday and he's great! Full of energy, really easy to please and of course, a bit of a troublemaker (what cat isn't)

I was after 2 kittens, but as soon as i saw this guy in the shelter place, I knew I wanted him, he was lying in his bed, we both looked at each other and he got up and came to the edge of the cage for a scratch.

He's already quite settled in, he got settled in in a couple of hours actually, and has been purring constantly since I got him. He's great for picking up and cuddling and he doesn't mind being in a carrier.

He seems to have really made himself at home. And you know he chose you as much as you chose him.

I had to sacrifice the lace from one of my old shoes, he took me hostage by grabbing my laces when I fasten then to go out

KITTEH! He is sooo cute Looks almost exactly like McGriff, minus the double paws. Our vet said that that coloration/markings is a Turkish Van "trademark" (purebred TVs are longhaired I think tho).

You probably already know this, but be careful with kittehs and any type of string.

I called him Patch, due to the orange patch over his eye, thoug he's yet to respond to it

McGriff never responded to his actual name, just any of the 2,549 nicknames we had. And the can opener, of course.

I honestly don't think I could have found a more perfect cat, i mean, sure, he does grab hold of me with his claws and try to nom on me, but i don't mind that, well, I'll get him out of the habit, but it's no biggie, I'm used to risk losing limbs with my mums cat.

He also likes cudding and settling down on me, he'll also play with anything, sod cat toys, he much prefers the random receipt that dropped on the floor and old shoelaces.
