So I applied for my postgraduate degrees today.
I am going to hopefully be a primary school teacher, fingers crossed (that is R-7 in my state, in other states, that's R-6)
In addition, one of the degrees I applied for gave me the option of applying for special education as well. I've put that one as first preference for a few reasons:
1) Broader qualifications since my Arts degree is somewhat one-sided.
2) More chance of getting in since it may not be as high demand as the other general degree.
3) A fair few schools these days have either completely cut their special education services altogether or are mainstreaming students.
Fingers crossed that I get in!
