Important, please read!

Due to personal issues, neither Pedersen or myself will be participating in the card swap this year. That said, we still need to be signed up to actually confirm that the list is going out correctly, so there will be two labels on your lists that will print out with the instructions "Don't Send This!" or something to that effect.

We will still be available for technical support and to answer any questions that may arise, so do still feel free to contact us should you have the need.

We're good. My husband and I just bought our first house (moved in Oct. 1st!) and I want to be careful with our finances in case anything else breaks around here. Of course, now that I said something, the roof's probably going to collapse while we're sleeping tonight... I jinxed us!

For me, it's all about the timing. My current employer is going away. I think I'll have everything cleaned up by end of November, but I'm not positive. If my finances don't let me participate, I'd be too late to tell people at that point.

Far better to be honest and simply say I'm sorry. I'd love to participate, but I can't guarantee I can meet my end of the deal. I have to be on there for the technical side, to make sure that issues get resolved quickly.

I wish I could say better/with more certainty. For now, I'll just apologize, and hope everybody catches these notes.
