I usually love summer best, but autumn is beautiful too. Celebrating the first day of fall today with a lovely roast chicken dinner, a bottle of apple wine, and apple crisp for dessert.

Anybody else doing anything special for fall?

I baked an apple pie Wednesday. Have an itch to buy the Charlie Brown Hallowe'en special.

Not yet...it will be hot here for at least another month, most likely I might start using some autumnal type fragrances in my home, though. Can't go too heavy on those because my husband is sensitive to strong scents, but a little goes a long way. Especially if it smells like food.
