Pottermore

I know there are a few Harry Potter fans here, and I'm sure you've heard of the new site Pottermore. Is anyone here on it, and how are you doing?

I went through the whole first book and I was pretty underwhelmed. I only kept with it so I could find the extra bits that JK Rowling had written. I felt like it was boring and pointless to "collect" items that just sat in my inventory. When the rest of it is released, I'll probably use it as a distraction when I'm bored or procrastinating.

EDIT: Oh, and the potions are super annoying. I can never keep mine at the right temperature, so I just gave up. I thought about dueling (like the mechanism for it) but couldn't find anyone else that would accept a duel or it was down, and I gave up on that too.

Yeah, it seems like the potion book was missing instructions or something.

The website has a lot of potential, but there are definitely some bugs to work out.

I'm on it. I was happy to be Sorted into Ravenclaw. And I like my wand.

But in Potions...oh man. Between the glitches and my natural suckage, I would lose Ravenclaw a million points if I actually worked at anything past the boil cure potion.

My wand is yew and phoenix feather: too similar to Voldemort's

I finally figured out how to work the spells. Click on the first letter, click again when the circle's at its largest, then immediately go to the next letter and click when the spark from the first letter reaches it. Click again when the circle's at it's largest. Repeat until spell completed. You've got to be fast as the letters tend to be a ways apart.

Now to figure out those potions...!

Potions are hard as hell...especially with it being so glitchy!
