It was kinda my fault in a way.
So I start my shifts at work 4 hours before we open. I will put my ipod in one of the demo docks to listen to. I do this almost every morning.
Well Friday morning I forget that it is there when we open. I have done this before and usually the person who works in the department will grab it for me if they see it is there, or I realize that I left it there.
By the time I realize, it is about 30 mins after we have opened. I go to where it was and it is gone. I ask the 2 people who are working, I check with the LP desk. Nothing! I decide to check the cameras.
Right after we open a guy comes in, is looking around, sees my ipod, decides to pick it up, walk around the store for a couple minutes with it. You can see him checking it out, playing with it. Then decides to leave with it. If I had realized it sooner I would have gone into the mall and see if he was still in there. (My store is attached to a mall and he had left by the mall entrance). I changed all my passwords when I got home just to be safe.
It sucks as I use my ipod pretty much every day. The funny thing is that it is 3 years old and the battery wasn't working properly anyways. (It dies really quick.) So he pretty much stole a lemon.
The good thing is that I was wanting to upgrade it anyways and with the new ipod touches coming out this week I can.
Stupid thieves!!
