  • Things to remember him by. This is for you Mr. Plaid

Based off of things I remember about Plaidman.
By all means Please feel free to ad or correct as I MAY have some of this wrong?
Mostly remembering the good times and stuff that I knew about him.

He liked the color blue, and or black
he liked his meat thoroughly seasoned (alot of seasonings) and spicey. like lemon, garlic and other such. to the point when rattling off the list of spices i lost count after 5

he liked most everyone he ever spoke to, chatted, texted or what have you online or face to face. loved alot of people too

was never slow with a kind word or shoulder to cry on

    LOVED his DND sessions.

you were lucky and blessed to have him as a friend, or even to know him

took alot of crap from people but kept on going

had a very high sense of loyalty and justice

had more patience than alot of us but if he hesitated it was to find a nice way to tell it like it is

liked alot of music, to note one singer/performer in particular D&D by Steven Lynch ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyxnEKTjhj0 )and other songs that were about his interests LINK NSFW!!!!
(I know there is more but i remember this in particular)

some stuff he posted about via the comics done by the awesome Jennie Breeden for the CS.com forum and stories (caution some are NSFW)

    "outrageous claims"

    "hot coffee/I'll sue"

    "brain bleach not included"

"sometimes customers think they are god"

"sometimes customers think they are god part 2 brain bleach involved"

"the wicked witch of the mod-west"

    "the ones darwin missed"

    "first installment"

i am sure there are more but i don't want to list all of them just yet

his nickname was plaidkitty, retailworkhorse drew him an avie that still adorns his facebook page!

EDIT he loved batman and superman and did he EVER know about trivia about either one, Joker was his favorite character. he had a knight, joker costume, joker pics from the movie and many other things as his avie

--the angel and the fairy --his voice would get all high in a spirited debate --interrupting his D & D sessions and earning him glares from the guys --his sense of justice/hatred for dishonesty --his love of all things Batman and why he did
--waking up to the beeping or ringing of my phone after falling asleep on a conversation

for those that can handle it one of the old youtube posts where he and his buddies were talking about one of their games

          good times
there is also the old news post from his local station but that is in a thread buried in cs somewhere...

also his birthday is the 30th so he got to have two holidays so to speak back to back.

No matter who had what going on, it was always like he was one of the first csers to offer words of support and kindness. He inspired me to reach out more, not only to escape my own hardships but DESPITE those hardships, to always be there for those who need me regardless of how well I know them or what kind of history we have.

made a card that sits on my shelf of unsent cards for Plaids birthday tomorrow. Unset for the same reason I didn't send plaids. As well meaning as it is, i figure not everyone wants that kind of reminder
