Came home tonight and 3 babies had died. I don't know if they're being ignored or not, but am going to try feeding them with a dropper just in case.

OK, they don't want to be fed with a dropper. They're crying and squirming pretty, good, so they seem strong. Maybe 2 is all mom could handle; she is kind of small, and the babies are already big, though the dead ones didn't look malnourished. I'll just have to watch them and see and hope they make it, or we try again.

Having bred a few litters of dogs (well, whelped) I've learned even the healthiest of looking babies can die or develop symptoms later. Maybe it's for the best and those three had issues with them that you couldn't see. I'm assuming this is the mother's first litter?

Yes, her first as far as we know. She is a little high-strung, so we have a towel over the cage, keep it quiet, and mess with her cage as little as we can.

Oh. My. God. they are adorable! I only have 1 bunny (Hossenfeffer the half-lop) but we're hoping to have more in the future. Hopefully that future is soon, especially after seeing those pics!
