I can understand not recognizing Bruce..heck he really didn't look like the guy in Evil Dead, etc..let alone the one on Burn Notice. In fact, I am ashamed to say..that it took about 4-5 shows of him showing up before I put 2 and 2 together (the first time I watched the series). Even then I had to get confirmation from a few of my friends before I believed it myself.

I spotted his name in the credits the first time through, so I totally knew he was in it.

That said, I'm not sure that he didn't look better in the Herc/Xena stuff as much because of wardrobe as due to the decade between filming.

I was thinking that there was NO WAY Bruce Campbell was 60....and I was right. He celebrated his 54th birthday June 22nd. Just saying. (Used both imdb and wikipedia as sources.)

I admit I never hardly watch credits. Find that about as interesting as watching grass grow. I do need to find out what happened to the person who played Joxer, and Salmonious. Ted Raimi was hilarious!

To answer a question posed in another thread (unless I missed something, lol .. which is very possible)..here goes.

Xena/Amazon. There are two ways in which Xena has a connection to the Amazons. One of which is that they were in the show with her, and some of her training/etc was with the Amazon. She was also their queen for a bit. So there is that...

But it goes beyond that. The Amazon women of mythology were fierce female warriors, in a society ruled by women. They were said to be tall and strong..something at the time was rather unheard of. In most societies at the time women were thought of as timid and not allowed to be warriors, and the rest of the world was male ruled. Xena was a fierce warrior, tall and strong. Thus the term 'Amazon'. I've known a few females in my life that were said to be Amazon like.
