Family Drama update: The mother, who I'll call D, and her husband who shall be named Asshole, are stating that family isnt allowed to come to the funeral and arent sharing the funeral information. I don't know why and really, I cant even speculate whats going on in their heads. Ive heard theres been drama regarding D's husband (Not the poor girls father) and he has been basically sequestering them all away from the family since they got married last May. What that means, ill leave up to you.

I was told by my cousin who attends church with D, that the funeral is Friday @ 1:00pm at that church. So, I told everyone.

D's sisters and mother are being kept in the dark regarding her arrangements and the investigation.

Its horrible that such a sad situation is made worse by peoples opinions and assholishness. I know this situation is not over. I'm praying it doesn't get worse. I have a feeling i should start collecting bail money b/c there's bound to be fights, especially if the family is barred from entering the church.

It'll be another 3.5 weeks i was told, before DNA is available and that's assuming that whoever did it is tested by then. :/ Long process. I wish it were like CSI....

Now im awaiting word on when the funeral will be.

She was my cousin through marriage. She passed as I was typing up what happened. Im so angry right now.

When they get the asshole who did it (which there is much speculation and family fighting about) ill let you all know. Due to how she was, it wasnt a stranger rape, it had to have been a caretaker or family member. And theres only a handful of males she was ever alone with. The death I wish upon him is too good for him. I hate him. I hate that this happened. And i hate that she couldnt tell anyone the pain and horror she was in. It breaks my heart.
