because I hate microwaving. I have 6 pyrexes with lids that I bought to microwave my lunches at work. It never heats anything evenly, though, and stuff like enchiladas will get rubbery. I'd rather make them up hot on the stove and pack right away.
If I can figure a way to keep the food warm in the glass dishes, I won't need to buy more containers. Any suggestions? I've heard of some kind of hot pack to put under. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? Would a sore-muscle hot pack work, do you think? I have a clay-filled one.
Otherwise, I already have one of these for soups: http://shopthermos.com/detail/TMS+NS340PL4 and I like these for casserole-type dishes: http://www.thermos.com/products/trip...#39;-lock.aspx
