I was wondering how long you waited for your order to be fulfilled. Maybe I've been spoiled by other companies; I've ordered and had the item in my hands within 5 days sometimes. I checked tracking on my package from Container Store today and it says it hasn't been fulfilled yet. I ordered it Monday afternoon. Is that a long time for it to sit unfulfilled or am I being impatient? I usually don't care about this stuff, but it's an item I'm anxious to get because it would help me greatly in my newly car-free existence. Plus, it's just neat-o! TCS is usually very good about shipping things out. The WIfe worked for them for about 8 years.
Per The Wife, if the web site said "Available for shipping", which it currently does, the item is suppose to be in stock. I am assuming that you ordered it to be shipped and not store pickup.
These are a popular item. They have had supply line issues in the past. If they do run out of them, it can be a while to get them restocked. However, that SHOULD NOT be the case here.
By the way, that is a very nice cart. They are not heavy duty, only rated for 40lbs. If you don't exceed the weight limit, you will get years of use.

I can see why they would have trouble stocking them at Back to College. It didn't say anything about stock levels, but they are on a nice price cut, so maybe they're in high demand. I ordered to be shipped to me."Is it hot in here to you? It's very warm, isn't it?"--Nero, probably

Wow, that's really pretty!!
We use something similar as we don't have a car. I bought mine at the county fair. They supposedly hold about 120 lbs. but I haven't really tested that, I try to be careful not to overload them. Very handy to have. When you start at zero, everything's progress.
