I feel you. It's been five years since I last had anything resembling a relationship and even longer than that since I've been in a serious relationship. I've pretty much given up at this point because the pain of things going sour is more than I can really handle right now. I'm focusing on me before I put myself back out there.

Hugs. Getting dumped sucks. I went 12 years between my ex husband walking out and finding a true life partner. Most guys I dated ran screaming within a month or two. Having disabled kids scares away most people. Then finally, 3 years ago, I got together with my current SO. It was worth the wait. Hopefully you'll meet your Mrs. Right soon.At the conclusion of an Irish wedding, the priest said "Everybody please hug the person who has made your life worth living. I went about four years without a date. Then I wound up seeing several different women in rapid succession. Would up living with one of them, and eventually married her.
My wife had given up on men all together. Too much BS, too many jerks, too many games. Then she met me, and realized that I was right for her.
