In a play that I am currently writing, the action focuses around an auction house where there is the sale of an extensive set of paintings all depicting a nude participating in various activities. These are grouped in sets.
So far we have the Musical Instruments Set:
'Nude Striking a Gong','Nude on the Triangle','Nude with a Big Bass Drum'
'Nude with a Beautiful Pair of Maracas','Nude with an Alleged Ocarina'
(the artist loved the sound of the word ocarina,but didn't have a clue what it was,so just drew what he thought it should be)
and the sadly unfinished 'Nude playing the Cymbals', which had to be abandoned due to an injury to the model sustained during painting...
and the beginning of the Refreshment Set:
'Nude Eating a Sixpenny Cornet' and 'Two Nudes Flanking a Cream Puff' (according to the catalogue,'the cream puff is presented on a doyley on a large plate.The nudes are seated and gesturing towards it with an expression of smug satisfaction)
If you have any brilliant ideas for further titles and descriptions of items that can form part of the auction, your brainwaves are muchly appreciated
