I have a lunch date with a girl tomorrow and was wondering if Panera Bread is an okay place. I just don't want to take her someplace blah (like McDonalds).

I like them. It isn't anything fancy; a casual office worker type lunch place usually, so probably just what you're aiming for. -

As long as both people like Panera, I'd consider it an excellent place for a lunch date.
My problem is every time I order a grilled cheese, it's barely grilled. The cheese isn't melted and the bread isn't even remotely toast like. Their breakfast sandwiches are lame too.
